Harry Clist

Bathurst, New South Wales

Rugby player, student

Although Harry was born with multiple limb deficiencies, it has never stopped him from having a go. The first time he saw wheelchair rugby played, he was instantly hooked and couldn’t wait to join in. Seven years later, the 14-year-old is well on his way to becoming an elite athlete. Harry is the sport’s youngest Australian competitor, playing at both a state and national level as an attacker and was named 2017 Wheelchair Sports NSW Rookie of the Year. He is already an experienced public speaker, regularly giving talks to prove that wheelchair users can do whatever they want “not only in sport, but in life”.
