Triathlete, role model

Having represented Queensland at various Triathlon and Road Cycling Championships, Brandi is a rising star of triathlon, with podium finishes at World Championship events. She is now pursuing her dream of becoming one of the first Aboriginal women to get a podium finish at the Half Ironman World Championships in St George, Utah, USA in 2021. A strong role model for Indigenous athletes, Brandi is a school program officer and ambassador for Deadly Choices, a health promotion initiative of the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health. By competing at an international level, Brandi hopes to inspire more Indigenous women to get active.
