Inventor, inclusion advocate
Clint is determined that his son Riley, who lives with quadriplegia cerebral palsy, enjoys life to the full. This commitment to inclusion led the carpenter to create a wearable support system that can be customised to support Riley’s torso and head while out of his wheelchair. PolySpine has opened Riley – the prototype’s co-designer – up to so many new experiences, from paddle boarding to sitting at the dinner table. After seeing how much it liberated his son from his wheelchair, Clint wants to share PolySpine with other wheelchair users. He has taken out a global patent and is on the way to bringing this unique invention to market.
