Software engineer, role model

Despite science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) skills being associated with 75% of the fastest-growing occupations, less than a third of graduates in these fields are female. Worse still, women only account for 16% of STEM workers. Lina is trying to get more Australian girls hooked on STEM through her Robofun Robotics and Coding Academy. She is starting out by offering affordable school holiday programs in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, but eventually aims to roll Robofun out nationally and online, with the hope of equipping more young people for future jobs.
