Comedian, inclusion champion
This natural comedian has been making audiences laugh since high school. Born without her left forearm, much of Madeleine’s material hinges on living with a physical disability. As part of her mission to create a more inclusive and understanding society through shared laughter, Madeleine started the Crips & Creeps comedy night early in 2019. Held monthly, it gives marginalised comedians the chance to perform in an accessible and welcoming space. The shows usually sell out and the number of audience members living with disability is rising by the month. Madeleine is using her grant to take Crips & Creeps to the Melbourne Comedy Festival.
