Accessibility advocate, tech entrepreneur
In 1999, Max was driving home from work when his car was hit side on by a fire engine. The accident left him unable to balance, walk or talk as before. Now a wheelchair user with multiple disabilities, he runs a charity that provides business advice on inclusion and marketing disability-related services. Max’s latest project is WheelEasy, a designed-for-mobile web app he developed with his wife and fellow explorer. It enables users to easily find accessible locations in cities. His goal is to offer a complete guide to Sydney first and use it as a model to expand to other areas.
